Allow the licence server
The EA checks your licence online. Add this address to MetaTrader:

What is Aurovol EA?
A trading robot (Expert Advisor) for MetaTrader 4 and 5 that runs AuroSync on gold: a buy basket and a sell basket that each close together at one shared target. It runs inside your own MetaTrader, and your money stays with your broker.
Will it make money?
We can't promise that, and you should be wary of anyone who does. It follows fixed rules, and results depend on the market, your account size and your settings. Losing weeks happen. Start on demo.
I already trade manually. Why use a robot?
To take the hours and the emotions out of it. Aurovol opens, adds and closes by fixed rules all day. You can still watch, adjust settings, or switch it off any time. Run it on demo next to your own trading for a week and compare.
Does it work on MT4 and MT5?
Yes. There is one file for each: AurovolEA.ex5 for MT5 and AurovolEA.ex4 for MT4, with the same settings. The news filter works on MT5 only, because MT4 has no built-in economic calendar.
Which pair does it trade?
XAUUSD (gold) on M5 with the default settings. It can also run on FixedVol indices with ATR spacing, but the defaults are made for gold.
Do I need a licence for a demo account?
No. On a demo account Aurovol runs free for 7 days with no key. After the trial, or to go live, you need a licence.
Why is the free plan free?
Our partner brokers pay us a small rebate on the trading volume of accounts opened through our links. That covers your licence, so you don't pay us anything.
Which account type do I need?
Any MT4 account, or an MT5 hedging account. MT5 netting accounts are not supported. We recommend a cent account so the default 0.01 lot and all 16 layers fit your margin.
Can I keep trading manually on the same account?
Yes. Aurovol only manages its own trades, and its CLOSE ALL button never touches yours. One thing to know: both share the same margin, so a basket with many layers leaves less room for your own trades.
What are FixedVol indices?
Synthetic indices with a fixed level of volatility. FixedVol 20 moves least and 100 moves most. They trade 24/7 and aren't affected by news, but their prices are generated by the broker, not a real market, and only some brokers offer them.
Is AuroSync safe?
No averaging strategy is safe. It wins often in small amounts, but a strong move in one direction can build a large loss that wipes out many weeks of gains, or the account. Use a cent account, keep the lot small, consider turning on Max basket loss, and only use money you can afford to lose.
How much money do I need?
Enough margin for both baskets to reach 16 layers. With a 0.01 first lot that is a lot of margin on a standard account, so we recommend a cent account. We suggest at least —. You can try everything on a demo account for free.
Can I stop it any time?
Yes. Press STOP on the chart, turn off Algo Trading in MT5 or remove the robot from the chart. Your account and money stay with your broker the whole time.
Do I need to keep my computer on?
Yes, MT5 has to stay open for the robot to manage trades. Most people use a low-cost Windows VPS so it runs around the clock.
Can I run it on my phone?
No. Expert Advisors only run on MetaTrader for Windows or a VPS. You can watch your trades in the MetaTrader phone app and get alerts there.
How do I install it?
Copy AurovolEA.ex5 (MT5) or AurovolEA.ex4 (MT4) into the Experts folder, allow the licence server, attach it to an XAUUSD M5 chart and paste your licence key. Our install guide walks through each step.
